The Joeybag name comes from the bags used to help injured or orphaned baby kangaroos (Joey's). The bags are suspended and the Joey's hop in and out in the same way they would in their mum's pouch. Nothing says Australia more than Kangaroos and Joey's right?

Head office, main manufacturing and dispatch warehouses are in sun kissed Queensland, Australia. Nestled between the cosmopolitan vibrant city of Brisbane and the glorious Sunshine Coast. We also have offices and facilities in Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the beautiful Shenzhen China.

As Joeybag continues to grow in popularity, counterfeits and copies are an issue, to combat this we have introduced an ID scheme similar to other high value brands. So every Joeybag now comes with it's own exclusive and unique ID number, it's printed on your welcome card inside the box.

Numbers are individual, highly secure and impossible to copy. You can simply input your number on authenticity checker here to make sure your Joeybag is the real thing. Or if your prefer, you can contact us here with your number and we'll be happy to check it for you against our secure database.

We don't use automated production techniques, Joeybag's are made to be individual and so all components are hand made by a skilled specialists from the metalwork, colouring and textile trades before handing over to our superb team of machinists for final assembly prior to undergoing a rigorous Quality Control inspection, every single Joeybag is checked by a senior QC specialist before packing and dispatch.

Joeybag is 100% cotton canvas with a natural polyester lining, so although it can be washed carefully by hand in warm water if required, we recommend stains should be removed by spot cleaning with a damp sponge and allow to air dry. Joeybag's shouldn't be machine washed or tumble dried.

Yes, we carry large stocks of Joeybag ready for daily shipping and we are constantly manufacturing therefore supply availability and order fulfillment is never an issue.

We pay everything so don't worry, there are no hidden charges, the price you see is the price you pay no matter where you are.

We are completely open about our manufacturing, we have facilities in Queensland Australia, Hong Kong and Shenzhen (China) and Joeybag is made in a combination of our facilities, based on component requirements (metalwork, textile, packaging etc.). All Joeybag's are finally assembled, QC checked and shipped from our main Australian base.

So why don't we make the whole thing in Australia? well we're a small nation and some of the skilled artisan workers we need to produce Joeybag just aren't available here. Rest assured we have the best and most professional, highly skilled people in the world making your Joeybag... and all with a smile because Joeybag does that to you.

Joeybag's are based on cotton canvas which isn't a waterproof material, the only way we can make them fully waterproof is to use chemical agents and coatings and this doesn't sit well with us. So we choose not to offer a fully waterproof canvas version, they are splash proof however so minor wetting is not a problem.

We use only the best high grade 'hand selected' heavy duty close weave cotton canvas complimented with a faux fur colour matched polyester lining to keep all your valuables safe and scratch free, and we make your Joeybag to last using high strength double stitched yarn and reinforced joints with heavy duty metalwork.

We don’t use chemical finishes or dyes to make your Joeybag, it’s all natural... so there’s no nasties.

Couldn't possibly happen :) but just in case you aren't happy with your Joeybag, change your mind or want a different colour... it's no problem, we're very easy going here. Just send it back to us in the same unworn and new condition you received it within 28 days and we'll refund you, no worries.
